How do I know which size to use?

Use the size that your screen resolution is.

For PCs:
Right click anywhere on your desktop, select Properties, and click on the settings tab. You should see the resolution under "Screen resolution"


I don't know the Apple MAC procedure by heart, but I do remember it's quite easy to find the resolution.

Of course it matters. If you choose the wrong one it either distorts it, lessens the picture quality by stretching it or makes a weird desktop by tilling the pictures.

It's just that I wanted something with a ST.com/Basketball theme as my desktop - but I hate when I can't read the text below the icons because of the background, so that's what I came up with
