Manu missed one shot at the end of regulation where replays showed he was fouled. He got exactly zero chances in OT to help this team.
Sitting him on the weakside in the corner while Duncan tries to throw in jumpers over his shoulder and Finley jacks up from the opposite wing was ing stupid.
And this team got killed on the glass in this series, all because they were scrambling around trying to play defense with four guards on the floor.
That's not Spurs basketball, and it's not the system that Pop crafted that got him three les.

Manu shoulda been the guy to run the O in the OT....He did it against the Kings...we would have taken the advantage because Manu would draw the fouls early, slow down the clock to our temp, because Timmy was puttering with those misses, he was great, but he's not a robot...Pop shoulda spread it with Tony and Manu cutting....
I think Pop made the mistake because of Dampier/Van Horn Fouling OUT...It's the little things we can't respond to until we look back....
It's meant to be a misdirection, but it was ed up on the execution unlike the barry play. I still don't blame pop for it. When you miss chances to make game winning shots time after time, you don't deserve to win.

Why did your coach of the milennium ditch that system and throw his whole team out of synch, all because of one game against Sacramento?
As much as Pop progressed as a coach in the last three years, he threw it all away with his stupidity this series.
And even more fun, you can bet Nazr won't be back due to the way Pop jerked him around, and we'll even be lucky if he agrees to a sign and trade and doesn't say you to Pop and walk without us getting anything back.
