This is going to Toronto. Bank on it.

Real Gm has a lottery simulator you can check it out here.
Is a vote for the knicks a vote for the bulls?
Absolutely. They traded their own first round draft pick to the Bulls in the Eddy Curry trade. They should've either traded a LOTTERY PROTECTED first round draft pick, or one of the two post-lottery first round picks they have (one they got from the Nuggets, the other they got from the Spurs in the Malik Rose trade).
And with the second worst record in the league, Isiah Thomas is most likely regretting his decision to trade that first-round draft pick to Chicago in the Eddy Curry trade, because his ping-pong ball combinations have been handed over to a team that made the playoffs this year, on a silver platter. That means a PLAYOFF TEAM has the second best chance of winning the draft lottery.
It could be worse...
A Conference Finalist...
An NBA Champion (more a curse than a blessing).
Another NBA Champion...
Well Det had the #2 pick, and they just were in the ECF the year before

Too bad we chose Darko. Actually I know why we picked him. We had Tay, Rip, CB, and Ben, but we didn't know we'd get Sheed
Here's the thing, though:
If I'm not mistaken, the highest draft position ever obtained by a playoff team through the Lottery (which means drafts from 1985, on) is 2 (and of course, a playoff team can only get in the lottery by way of a trade). I think there were two occurrances of such; Celtics grabbing the #2 pick after winning the Championship (like you said, more a curse than a blessing, as the draft pick died about two days later), and Detroit grabbing it in 03 after being bounced by the Nets in the EC Finals. So since the Draft Lottery was established, no reigning NBA Champion has ever gotten the #1 overall pick. It did happen once during the Coin Toss era, and it was the Cavs that screwed themselves over by trading off their first round draft pick to the Lakers.
Man, I'm so pissed I never got to see Len Bias in the NBA. Could you imagine one of the top 5 teams in NBA History getting such a complete player?
I hope Bobcats will win it. But i know they won't.![]()
portland has the highest % of winning the draft lot.
I tried to get a steal with the Warriors, oh well. Only lose like 100K
I laughed at all the people who picked the Blazers, just about every year, whoever had the worst record in the NBA NEVER gets the #1 pick in the NBA Draft Lottery
#1 pick in the 2006 NBA Draft..... Raptors
