Was hoping Bulls wouldve got 2nd pick.
Bulls need to pull a trigger on KG trade.
Wolves would love that #2 pick and those studs on Bulls.
I was going to put my money on the Raptors but tried to go for a steal in Warriors since they were 45/1....should of stuck with my thoughts
Getting Colangelo, Bosh's imminent extension, lucking into the #1 overall pick, massive amounts of cap space, it's all falling into place.
The Raps are gonna get another big man like last year.
the lottery this year was pretty funny. a big contest to see who get's to draft first in an awful draft year. the only really great part was hoping to see isiah's poor trades screw the knicks even more.
damn whats that all about?![]()
we got no first round picks
and if im the knicks, all of them should go jump of a bridge, curry aint worth a top3 pick, they shouldve not traded for him. they shouldve kept that pick, then they wouldve had 2 first round picks+2 2nd round picks = 4 picks, and another 4 picks the season after. they couldve rebuild through draft.
spurs 2005/06 = the rich gets richer, 06/07 = from rich to poor.
even if spurs had first round draft pick they woudn't be in lottery...
In this draft, yes he is. He is a calculated gamble. What he's not worth is the 50 million dollars that he's soaking out of the salary cap. The Knicks do have two late-round picks which is where the talent is at in a draft like this because the talent pool is an inch wide and mile deep. A guy at 1 is probably as serviceable as the guy at 29. The last draft like this looked horrible up top, but finished strong - Gerald Wallace, Samuel Dalembert, Jamaal Tinlsey, Tony Parker, Trenton Hassell, and Gilbert Arenas in picks 25-31.
Because teams' have no clear-cut options, they will be looking for depth, ignore utility, and love "up-side." And that will allow good players to fall further than they normally would. I think the fact that both the Spurs and Pistons traded out of this first-round is because of the shallow talent.
yeah, LA wouldnt look bad in a Raps uni either. Toronto would benefit from a "Twin Towers" frontcourt in Aldridge and Bosh. Those two guys are young and could last awhile.
Obviously, you do not have much basketball knowledge. Becauseeeee R.C. traded the Knicks this years 1st round pick in the Nazr trade because this year draft sucks. Next year is the draft you want to be in when all the young players come out.
