has anyone ever did this? sounds fun 8 weeks online course.
The books for the course are sent directly to your home from SMWW office. Some of the books or materials are so specific that they are either out of print or not sold in any bookstore. In the USA, the books cost $95 shipped to your door, or $125 for Canada and international students
You will need a computer and if it doesn't have a microphone you will need to add one. They cost around $7-10 at any electronics store. (Radio Shack is an option.)

I would love to be an NBA GM. The problem is isn't hard to get up to that level?
Most GM's work their way up the ladder within an organization rather than just take some classes and get hired.
I think their Sports Agent course looks cooler to me than the GM course. I always think that if I wasn't a sports writer, then I'd look into being an agent.
true gms have alot of pressure on them
Not everyone can be a GM, though half of SpursTalk thinks they can be
