    '00 - Lakers win
    '01 - Lakers win
    '02 - Lakers win
    '03 - Spurs win (thx for missing that shot in game 5 Horry)
    '04 - Lakers lose in finals (fvck you fisher)
    '05 - Spurs win
    '06 - Spurs lose to mavs, Lakers choke against Nash

    So you have, since '99, every year the Lakes, the Spurs, or Shaq has been involved.

    You can boil that list down further:

    Following that logic, this will be the first time in 20 years that the championship will not go to the Spurs, Lakers, Pistons, Bulls or Rockets

    And if you axe the Rockets from that because they only had a back-to-back run and were done, it's even more impressive. Five teams in 18yrs, WOW.
