I think this mavs team will be remembered for alot of things but one of them won't be for having class. Cuban cussing Bowen out in front of litttle kids, Terry and his low blows, AJ's wife, and what Stackhouse did last night are just some of the reasons . But not all. I for one will not resort to name calling or making derogatory statements about the mavs from this point on. The mavs are making themslves look bad so I don't have to. Their actions throughout these playoffs only further prove my point that certain teams deserve to play in the Finals and other teams don't. This is what the youth in Dallas have to look up to as far as sports are concerned. First the '88 "stick em up" Carter Cowboys then the drugstore "sniff sniff" Dallas Cowboys now the "sucker punch" mavs? What's next?

Who cares about cussing at a playoff game? the kids, I cuss at playoff games too. A playoff game should have the atmospehere of a rowdy sports bar, not a trip to Disneyland.
I like how it went from "Mark cuban used a profane word directed at Bruce Bowen and then apologized later" to "Cuban cussed in front of little kids."
Soon, it'll be that Cuban cussed and used racial epitaphs against a group of toddlers, stole a kid's birthday cake, and punched a grandma in the face.

Why am I not suprised to see that a Pacers fan responded to this topic? A team that let Artest get away with so much for so long. Not to mention a little incident that happened in Detroit. I think you identify well with mavs fans.
You act like he's some money grubbing lunatic. The dude actually loses a bit of money each year on the Mavericks (at least, he has so far).
I understand why he annoys other teams fans, but he's not a bad person. And he cares more about the fans, the individual people, than any other owner in the NBA, bar none.
So what? I've gone and started cussing out Shaq from 5 feet away at playoff games. If Cuban had never been such a prick about the DA situation in 2001 I wouldn't have a problem with him. If it wasn't for that one moment I'd probably like the Mavs a lot.
He cares more about HIS fans, he goes to lengths just to piss off the other teams fans and you say well if he was you're owner you'd love him, the problem is that he goes out of his way to piss off other teams fans. And you people love him for it.

Mark Cuban is all about turning the NBA into as close a replica of WWE as he can. Anything else is spin and bull . I don't think he's a blackheart, but he is definitely a huckster of the highest order.
I don't disagree with you. I just don't understand why fans of other teams can't appreciate the way a pretty average-joe type dude like Cuban has been so successful. Personally I'd think it was a cool story even if I was a Spurs, Rockets, or Toronto Raptors fan.
He goes out of his way to piss of Spurs fans because he wants some stupid rivalry that will never last. Because he too stupid to understand that NBA is nothing like College sports(he wants something like UT-A&M) He's the face of your franchise that's right the owner is the face of your franchise, and that's just sad.

He wants a college type rivalry that just can't happen in pro sports. Players in the NBA are a close-knit fraternity and most of them are friendly off the court. They have no reason to hate each other unless one takes a cheap shot at them or something. Cuban is what happens when no-class frat boy type bums make too much money...they don't handle it the right way. He brags about all his fines.... setting such a great example to the youth....teaching them to break the law and show no respect for authority. Trouble is if you continually break the law and don't have the money to pay your fines, you end up in jail.
