i just think it has revealed an a-hole side of avery i didn't realize. they had something with him during a timeout saying 'let's try that, just every once in a while" or something like that, just sounded cheap and tacky. very disappointed.

Avery is now the enemy. Spurs fans need to get over the love. When he brought up the getting cut on Christmas eve during the playoffs I officially became an Avery hater. Spurs MADE Avery. The guy was a mediocre point guard playing with David Robinsin and Tim Duncan. Avery. whiney little .

Meh, if a guy's going to shoot free throws THAT poorly you gotta at least consider it. It caused Riley to take him out, even in OT when he didn't have to.

That is the first time I have seen a coach basically call his own player an idiot during the postgame interviews. Saying how anyone who is involved in basketball for 20 years should know that you want the TO after the 2nd FT. It doesn't seem like a very good idea to criticize you own player like that.
Avery will always, always lay the blame on somebody else.

That was maybe the biggest asshole move I've seen in a postgame interview of all time! I was literally begging for the guy to just say to Avery that Wade got fouled and shut him the up!

I must agree with the popular sentiment in this thread...he may be a good coach, but he is Cuban Part 2...lame.
They were fouling Shaq when they weren't even in the penalty. That's just stupid.
