i think it's july 5th and it's stupid to think about the season when the offseason is barely getting on it's way. lets way a month or so and then start to talk about not winning a championship
with current statrtinglineup,we may not get the champion
what you think?

We have probably the second or third best starting lineup in the league dude, get the over it.
I think we're depending on Javtokas a little too much.
But...if he plays average, or slightly above average...we will be right back in the thick of things.
Still too early, but if we don't get a good rebounding big man then we may be in trouble...
you guys are right i m out of my mind recently
yep we are ed when are starters are : Parker, Manu, Duncan, Bowen, and Center? yep that team is going no where.
Plus a bench of finley, barry, horry, javtokas(good rebounding big man), bonner, williams (who I think will suprise people with his abilities because I downloaded the lakers/raptors game where kobe scored 81 and Williams played some minutes and he picked up a couple of offensive fouls on the lakers and got a few rebounds; and he moved up and down the court well for his age), and oberto plus you know the spurs will bring in another SF, bigman, and PG before the offseason ends so stay positive
no decent C = no championship
manu is approaching his bithday right?
7 26
I'm not buying that-- who you starting-- Oberto, Bonner?
I just watched some more Bonner highlights...
The guy has a very nice stroke. But you can tell he'll be a defensive liability. Maybe not a liability but nothing special. Kind of like a Brent Barry is. Bring him off the bench, use him like the Mavs used Keith Van Horn and we should be alright.
Although I don't see us winning 63 games next year, I'm still confident that this team can win between 55-58 games.
I'll predict 58 for the of it.
With a healthy Tim Duncan.
With a healthy Manu.
I don't see why we couldn't push 63 again.
My prediction has injuries built in. You can almost guarantee that one of the big 4 (exluding bowen ... dude is an iron man) will get injured for a decent amount of time. Probably Manu for about a month and Tim in spotty patches throughout the season.
Hopefully everyone will stay healthy and we can have a '06 Pistons health streak going ... but with the type of injury prone players we have, I don't see that happening.
Injuries are a good prediction, though maybe not for Manu or Duncan. We'll see if Duncan's feet are able to heal, and Manu's playing this summer, right?
It's rather the older players who will get worn out somewhere. Horry or somebody. There's not a lot of room for failure along those lines, but we'll tread that line.
I think you should take one more English class at the university extension.
what s the problem
We don't get either a servicable PF of a defencive Center then we ain't going to win the championship this year
So whats the line-up going to be?
Parker
Manu
Bowen
Bonner
Duncan
I mean a team has to have five players on the floor and you don't have a center worth me typing his name. Bonner was a good trade, until Nazr left ... now its a bad trade.
You do know what NBA refs do to rookie centers don't you .... 15 minutes played, six fouls.
Finley is old, Barry is older then Finley, Horry is older then Barry and to top it off Bowen is in the same age class .... My god, they Spurs could really faulter this season.Plus a bench of finley, barry, horry, javtokas(good rebounding big man), bonner, williams

duncan is a decent c
patience. They will certainly get a couple of athletic forwards maybe jeffries and childress. I'f rather have duncan and good forwards than an average player at center...
Wishful thinking from a choking mav fan!![]()
This is unfortunately true. You do know what NBA refs do to rookie centers don't you .... 15 minutes played, six fouls.
And true, too, that the Spurs' bench is decaying slowly.
