why is that? Would Zidane's presence on the pitch have made Trezeguet put his PK home? And don't tell me that Trezeguet wouldn't have been taking a PK if Zidane had been available. Trezeguet was taking one of those with or without Zidane.

Zidane really did put his team at jepoardy. But i think a crucial mistake was made by the french coach by taking Henry out. Henry and Zidane are two of his best players...It is known in soccer you do not take your best player out if he can still walk. And Henry is one of their best penalty kickers...

The dude that also replaced Henry is the dude that missed his penalty goal...do the math...i feel it was a huge coaching error, and not just Zidane blowing a fuse during the game.
