Yeah, but how many pieces were you really wanting the Mavs to add? Look at last season's FA crop and the acquisition of Diop. Everyone glossed over it like it was no big deal and that panned out quite nicely. The position players are set, they just need shooters at the 1-3 position. I wouldn't mind Buckner, Reggie Evans and possibly Chucky Atkins.

I always liked buckner the first time he was here. He reminds me alot of griffin.
He's better than Griffin. He's a good defender like Griffin but he shoots much better. He's a little taller I believe. I was sorry to see him go when he was in Dallas before.
^ he's actually listed at 6'4, an inch shorter than griffin, but your right he is a better shooter and a great defender.

Well he looks taller than Grif to me. I know he plays D against 3's more than Griffen does. Maybe that's why I thought he was slightly taller.
Jumaine Jones would be an awesome backup at SF, but is he available? Somebody fill me in.
Lol i remember one time, years back when the mavs were struggling to find any big men worth a , they actually had him guarding duncan lol. Huge height disadvantage but he actually did a decent job, he goes all out and doesnt back down from a challenge.
There was still a game after that one that they totally ed up
I heard the Mavs were going to sign Greg Buckner, resign Adrian Griffin and continue to look for a backup point guard. They can do a sign & trade with Van Horn in helping land another PG. It's looking like Marshall & Armstrong are out.
