Isn't KG older than TD? TD isn't declining.
But KG on the Spurs would be orgasmic.
Since KG has a player option next year, he should opt out and go to the Spurs because they will have about 17 mil in cap space, and he should play for about 13 mil a year. He doesn't need anymore money, anyways.
That way, Duncan and he can team up and create the greatest team ever. He'll have a good chance to get finals MVP for next 3 years with Duncan "declining."
I think the Spurs would 3peat with that team.
Then his resume would look something like:
3 time NBA champion
At least 2 time finals MVP
NBA Most Valuable Player: 2004
TSN NBA Most Valuable Player: 2004
9-time NBA All-Star: 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006
NBA All-Star Game MVP: 2003
7-time All-NBA:
First Team: 2000, 2003, 2004
Second Team: 2001, 2002, 2005
Third Team: 1999
7-time All-Defensive:
First Team: 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005
Second Team: 2006
Co-leader of the greatest team ever.
He'll go from a choker to top 15 all-time.
What say you?![]()

That's why I put declining in quotation marks.
People think he's declining.
Why not throw in LeBron and Wade?
Because that's not even concievable. KG actually is. Not very likely, but it actually could happen.
I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but I'm pretty sure Pop knows that KG has an option year next year. The Spurs should be under the cap, and they will have plenty of money to throw at him if he does opt out.
It is plausible.
Honestly, do you see KG staying in Minnesota if they fail to make the playoffs again?
Were would he go that he would have a better chance to win and make good money at the same time?
The only team I can think of is the Lakers, but I don't know if he would really want to play with Kobe.
Ding ding ding.
How do you get that the Spurs will have about $17 million in cap space next summer when they have over $53 million committed to contracts next year?
http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/san_antonio.htm
Even if Finley and and Oberto don't exercise their options and the Spurs don't exercise their team option on Bruce Bowen and the salary cap is pushed up over $54 million, the Spurs still only have about $10-11 million in cap space, UNLESS they start trading current players for expiring contracts.
I've read somewhere on here that the Spurs will have about 17 in cap space. I'll see if I can find it.
If the Pistons do salary dumps of Maxiell and Rasheed Wallace, they would have plenty of money under the cap to do the same thing. Old coach Flip Saunders. One of his best friends in Chauncey Billups. Sounds good also.
If the spurs get kg then Erick Dampier will be MVP. Neither one is gonna happen.
Aren't KG and Tim good friends?
Garnett is soft, are u sure u guys want to risk your offense over a weak, jump shooting power forward?
LOL, you're just angry because there is a possbility of that happening.![]()
Yes, because he is probably a top 10 PF of all time.
A couple of refugees from LakersGround where they have KG going to the Lakers threads five times a day.
LOL, then why did your team try to trade for him?![]()
This thread.
People just dont understand free agency.
And Yao and Amare. We need depth at those positions
It went over your head. He was slamming Mavs fans.
We'll worry about this next summer.
Thanks.
