Agent Bill Duffy confirmed that guard Fred Jones will sign a three-year deal with the Raptors. It should be a good fit -- Jones is very athletic and an excellent finisher on fast breaks, which makes him an ideal pairing with new point guard T.J. Ford. The Raptors thought they had a deal with guard John Salmons, before he backed out. Jones is similar to Salmons in that both have struggled with their shots in their young careers, but the quick pace Toronto plays should help boost Jones' percentages. …

lol raptors are my home town team..but i never did like them but this gets you thinking the odds are none of this would have happend if vince carter played like a man lol
Great signing. Better than Salmons for what they need. Great open court defender, solid shooter who can get on a roll and a very talented all around player.
This signing makes a lot of sense.
I like this signing and $11M/3 years is a good deal.
