Nuggets![]()
and might be willing to spend it?
evans wants that
wells wants more but kings are 4 million and wants to do a sign and trade...
The Nuggets, who have 12 players under contract for $61.6 million and don't want to pay the luxury tax after $65.4 million
they have it but do not want to spend it because of the tax
While Wells' agent, William Phillips, has said he and the Kings will discuss sign-and-trade options, the notion is unlikely if the Kings are to stay under the luxury tax threshold of $65.42 million. They are above $60 million in salary and have said repeatedly that they would rather stay under the tax, which adds an extra dollar for every dollar spent above the threshold.
kings do not have it either
knicks do not want to spend it
gs wants to dump murphy to get under the tax
yeh but Stan would if it was worth it. Just not sure if we need Reggie now that Nene is re-signed, K doesnt look to be leaving, Camby is a monster on the boards and now they have signed Sampson
I think the Nuggets will end up settling for KVH, resigning DJ and signing Sampson
Reggie would be a nice trade asset to have though
would anyone take wells for a lle deal with wells having a player option next year?
wells would make sure manu did not play over 30 minutes a game
manu could just play 25 minutes and stay healthy for playoffs
If the Kings can find that defensive big they are looking for, I think they'll do a sign and trade and be willing to pay the luxury tax. That is only if they find the guy they are looking for. The Maloofs haven't opened the pocket books in a few years, its about time they do.
Highly doubt it.
wtf? our owner would pay lux tax if it was worth it. hes said that many times.
Atlanta and Charlotte still have cap room.
I think Seattle has the MLE but they aren't going to spend it - they are still trying to sign Wilcox.
its ok, he was getting confused with their cheap owner![]()
Alot of Spurs fans here seem to harp on the fact that he is cheap![]()
Except that we PAID the LuxTax this year. Recognize. Just because our fans are stupid doesn't mean you need to follow suit....
Pistons could offer:
Carlos Delfino (1 million)
Dale Davis (3.5 million expiring deal, solid backup C the Kings are looking for)
1.5 million trade exemption
Draft pick(s)
Take 125% of that 6 million in salary, and the Pistons would have the option of offering Bonzi a deal starting at up to 7.5 million a year (though he's probably not worth that much). I know it will probably never happen, but its still interesting to think about.
