Electronic Media Writer - Sacramento Kings & Monarchs


OBJECTIVE: To understand the business of Maloof Sports & Entertainment and the Sacramento Kings and Monarchs in order to provide written content for Kings.com and SacramentoMonarchs.com.

RESPONBIBILITIES:

- Develops written content for websites, including on-line copy, features, stories, etc.

- Partners with Electronic Media Technician and Electronic Media Specialist to implement overall strategic direction of electronic media.

- Manages multiple projects with strict deadlines.

- Works closely with VP, Marketing and Monarchs Business Operations on story concepts and approvals.

- Other duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.

- Minimum of three years professional experience and proven success in writing features, stories, etc.

- Must have the ability to multi-task.

- Customer focused; committed to catering to customers.
