andre killed it on the album.... big boi sounded like the big boi of old.... alot better than speakerboxx big boi..... the only bad thing i have to say about it is taht there are too many skits.... but other than that its a banger!
From what I've heard of it, I'm liking it. Its got the old school Outkast feel to it.

Andre can act, and act well. Not so sure about Big Boi though, but I bet ends up being better than you think

I've got no doubts about Andre's talent. Even if he's not going to be making his Oscar speech anytime soon, he's got a certain charisma. Makes him undeniably watchable. And, I loooove Terrance Howard.
My questions are mostly with Big Boi, Barber's direction and the script. I'm planning on seeing it, but I'm prepared to be unimpressed.
Andre's got that thing, as you said. And Terrance Howard should be great alongside him. I really, really enjoyed watching him in Hustle and Flow. I've seen Big Boi act, but I can't recall what it was in. Hey, at least you'll be nodding your head to the soundtrack if you are unimpressed.
I agree! That album is theI've always liked Outkast, although I prefer Big Boi to andre but that's just me.
As far as the movie, I'll see it eventually. I heard Andre can act. I saw BB in ATL and he wasn't bad. He's no Denzel but I've seen worse.
have you ever seen the goodie mob video black ice? he was pimped in that, nothing to do with acting though - walking a pit bill in a fresh 80s stros jersey. goodie mob were playing babies in a suburban white house, pretty money.
big boi was fine on speakerboxxx - very solid as usual, there were just too many guest spots for my taste.

I liked Speakerboxxx/The Love Below equally when I first bought them, but The Love Below gets played MUCH more often in my house.
ill take andre over big boi any day.... old andre wrecked on the mic..... he on the singing tip now and days, which is cool too.....

that, the players ball remix(only on LP or if you can find a rip), git up, git out, and mainstream are my favorites.
Andre and Big Boi are quite possibly two of the most well rounded guys in this country. Clothing lines, movies, dog kennels, and maybe two of the most unique rappers/artists in rap. Definately legends already in the music industry and have been for some time.
