I think Team USA will win that game, but I expect a strong showing by Slovenia, which will be hungry after a tough loss the other night. If I had to guess I'd say:

We got 1:100 chance of winning, we play against all odds, so why not.. 97-94 for sLOVEnia. We'll see who loves their country more.

You're right about the pigs flying out of places if you think Rasho is going to fall on his head. Everyone knows that for Rasho to fall on his head he'd need to actually jump.

Manny, you must have missed that in the game vs. Italy Rasho got so pissed, he ripped his jersey which had to be taped up. He then followed in rage and hit a 3 and consecutive dunks.
I feal pitty for Rasho. He can't fall on his head like some other people. Isn't that right...Manny?...Maanny?!...MAAAAANNNNNNNY!!!!.... .Time for your pills!

hey all, i read this forum a lot but i dont post much but something really pissed me off so much i went to reset my forum password so i could log in properly and post
the thing i am pissed about is all the "defeatism" talk our team,coach and everyone has
YES team USA is damn strong and we will probably get beat and possibly by a lot
but.... imo the thing in this team i miss most about is mental toughness=balls
to say in public (most of the tam&coaches do) that they are already thinking about Puerto Rico is bull if u ask me
to throw away games is bad for the morale and not very sporty
if the game goes really bad from the start coach can decide to rest his core players etc but to throw away a game before it even starts is pathetic if u ask me
a bit offtopic but: they shot ppl in ww2 for "defeatism"

as for my general thought about our team....
i think we are doing the best we can so i cant blame them for loosing etc (the players) but i think Pipan just doesnt give proper minutes to proper players
Nachbar played grand total of 15 minutes against Italy(both games he played he played very well if not great)
Brezec who is supposed to be one of our top players played grand total of 9 minutes against italy with 4/5 FGs made
Slokar playes well; rebounds etc and shot 2/2 against italy also should get more minutes
on the other hand Jurak and Milic get way too many minutes that should go to these players
they are both fighters and good spirited ppl but Jurak is just too short for a PF (even Nachbar who is a SF is taller than him) and Milic's best years are behind him

If the US guards play serious defense, Slovenia is in trouble.
Deep trouble.
But watch out if they don't. I have seen Nesterovic in pretty good shape physically on Sunday and he is the perfect passer/shooter to play the in/out game.
That could keep Slovevia in the game, if Becirovic, Nachbar and Lakovic hit from the perimeter.
And if they play some rough last-game-of-my-life defense.
A lot of ifs.
I am getting up at 5:30 am to watch.
