Dammit, I keep getting screwed with the draft order.
The last pick isn't as bad as it seems, you always get 2 picks in a row.
I was 12th in my draft and my team is badass.
lol i always draft like 6th or 7th
Last pick is actually better than pics 4 - 11. Even 3-11 sometimes.
At least it is if the league doesn't have too many players.
You will be able to snag 2 very good but not great players right away.
Which isnt bad considering there usually are only a few great players in a draft..at least those that are expected to be great anyways.
You pick in the middle...you get one very good one...and then only a pretty good one by the time it comes back to you to pick again.
Why is the draft not set on random order though? How is the current order decided?
It was decided by random order generated by an online randomizer. Then I entered that order into Yahoo.
Otherwise, you'd have to wait 30 minutes before the draft to know the order.
Thats cool. Definately better that way so you can plan your draft with your position in mind.
And just to clarify, I wasn't asking because I thought something fishy was going on. If that was the case I am sure you would have given yourself a better position than 9...which kind of sucks.
And the pre-draft random generator worked out really well for me in the $10 league.
