BAGHDAD, Oct. 24 -- The bodies of 49 freshly trained Iraqi National Guard recruits, lined up and executed by insurgents, were discovered on a roadside about 75 miles northeast of Baghdad, Iraqi officials said Sunday.
In a separate attack, a member of the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security was killed when a rocket or mortar round landed in a U.S. military base adjoining the Baghdad airport early Sunday morning. Edward J. Seitz, 41, was the assistant regional security officer for the U.S. Embassy.
This is the reason we must win the war in Iraq. To get rid of these insurgents who have no regard for human life.

Why the did we leave these guys unarmed?
Why the are they still being called "insurgents?"
These were Iraqis we were training so the US can eventually leave. They usually get hit by the INSURGENTS when grouped together. Why not an escort while they are sitting ducks on a bus?Why the are they still being called "insurgents?"
I think we should float another group is heading out in similar fashion, then load the bus with US Special Forces.
Or some dummies carved out of C4.
