NEWS-TALK 550 KTSA and Performance Racing Network bring you the NASCAR Nextel Cup Sharpie 500 from Bristol Motor Speedway Live on KTSA on Saturday August 26, 2007 at 5:45 PM.
Come join KTSA's Trey Ware and "NASCAR BABE" Dawn Murphy (and I DO mean BABE!) at Stats Sports Bar beginning at 5PM on Saturday afternoon for all of the racing action. Trey and Dawn will broadcast LIVE beginning with a 45 minute Pre-Race Show that will take a look around the racing community both locally and Nationally and Pre-View the upcoming Cup Race from Bristol.
They will be talking with Drivers, Crew Members, Team Managements, and more from the Local Texas Race Scene and the NEXTEL Cup Circuit as well as taking calls and feedback from KTSA Listeners. You can see live and in person some of Texas best drivers and their cars Live at STATS. Come decked out in all of your favorite NEXTEL CUP Driver gear and show your team spirit. After the show, hang out with the crew and enjoy lots of food, drinks, prizes, and fun...and don't forget that you will see all of the beating and banging and non stop action from Bristol on the 8 Big Screen TV's Available.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND?
Apologies for my bad at ude, and I meant no offense to you; BUT, NASCAR has made it very clear that racing itself is a distant second to marketing the races.
Hence, I have little interest nowadays.
And nearly as significant, the TV coverage is beyond bad.

I understqand and your thoughts are shared by a lot of people. That is what makes what we do great. RADIO coverage is just that, the bare bones. Just what you hear is what you get...racing. We would still love to have you come out and have a beer or a dozen!!!
Sounds good. Look for Kenseth to pay Gordon back for the last time they met in Bristol. You guys picked a very good race. Bristol is always exciting.
Oh ya!!! I think Bristol is one of, if not the best race on the schedule. I love Saturday Night Short Track racing. If you come out, come say hi to me.

Saturday night racing is my favorite. I love Bristol. I actually meant that Gordon will want to pay Kenseth back for what happened last time. He already did, but look for it to happen again. It will get hot tomorrow night. There will be a lot of short tempers. A lot of paint being scratched.
Will you be wearing a name tag or something?

No keychains! Man did we have a blast though! Wall to wall people. About 150 in total! Can't wait to do it again!!!
