yes 100%so far
how do yall feel about them
i mean it seems alot of times on cops they, the cops, offer poeople sex for money, and then arrest them. i mean how stupid is this? also, isnt there bigger better crimes to be pursuing than pros ution? im not saying its ok but seriously....and the same for drug stings and what not
also dui checkpoints. whats taht about? i always hear about them around my house, as i live in a tourist area and on the beach. but havent seen one yet. apparentley a copule people left my house sat and got stopped at one. luckily she was sober. but all the times ive driven drunk ive gotten home. i mean if im swerving and , then yeah, pull me over. but if i gte caught at a checkpoitn, how lame is that? especially considering how cops always manage to make up bull excuses as it is.
I dunno, I kinda like the thought of drunk drivers being caught and taken off the streets. But that's just me.
Me too.
Just because people aren't swerving doesn't mean they aren't impaired. Their reflexes suck if they are drinking and they can easily get in accidents and kill people.
DUI checkpoints are good.
I don't really care about the pros ution thing but I voted that I agree with both![]()
I really don't care much about the pros ution thing....if some desperate dude has to get some bad enough to pay for it, and take home one of those nasty things, then so be it.
But the DUI checkpoints? I dunno ... it's difficult to argue against it (for me, anyway) and not sound like you're defending driving drunk. It's a big inconvenience if you haven't been drinking...but how many will they catch, potentially saving a life/lives? I'm sure there will be a million and one reasons why it's an infringement on someone's rights or whatever, but I don't see it that way. People can't drive worth a sober, and I sure as don't want them around me driving drunk.![]()
I agree with the DUI checkpoint.. thats saving lives.
but I could give a about pros ution. thats a waste of tazpayer money.
I may not agree with pros ution - but thats my opinion, what other people do with thier bodies, time and money ain;t my buisness.
pros ution should be legal.
drunk drivers should be shot.
I absolutely disagree with both. The sting are a waste of time.
But the checkpoints remind me of all the stories you hear of russian cops asking you for your papers. Or any other facist country. I by no means support drunk driving, but whats next? Checkpoints to see if you have porn? A banned book?
Its the whole idea of check points. You should have to proove me guilty, I shoudlnt' have to proove my innocence.
See? I knew I could count on Manny.![]()

The pros ution thing, I disagree with.
Got no problem with the DUI thing, maybe one day someone you care about or someone related to someone you care about will have their lives ended because of a drunk diver, and it'll change your perspective.
I went out with a girl in college whose older sister got killed a drunk driver, and it really ed her up in the head. No one deserves to go through that.
good poll chode regulator
i disagree with both, especially pros ution stings
do these lady officers volunteer for this or something? pitiful, there's not enough crime going on so you go and create your own?
exactly. i mean seriously, how bored are you if you have to create crime?
yeahb but i agree with him. i mean seriously, ive driven over the legal limit im sure plenty of times. and im not braggin, but jsut bc someone says the legal limit is too much for me doesnt make it so. plus they say even one drink affects you so what does it matter. but i see where eveyrone else is comong from too. and in no way am i condong/encouragin drunk driving. but i mean seirously, to just pull over everyone. thats gay. and what if they pull you over at a stop and find something else. then you get ed for no reason.See? I knew I could count on Manny.
my gf i currently date, her dad died in a dd accident and also dated a gf in hs whos best frined dide in a dd accident. but that doesnt mean you should pull over everyone. nor again, create crime. i mean ive been driving home plenty of times and seen people swerving and crossing lanes and drivinginto the grass and no cop to be seen. yet you could be driving perfect and be almost home and maybe had JJJJJJJUIUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTT enogh to go over "legal" and get ed. thats kinda gayI went out with a girl in college whose older sister got killed a drunk driver, and it really ed her up in the head. No one deserves to go through that.
edit:and ive been i n acouple dd accidents, didnt change anything for me really. people are going to do it regardless, its the same principle as border defense though. police do it to look good and get njumbers
interesting that agree/disagree with both is dead even
You can take them home?

Ew. That revealed a little more about Shoogar's pick-up habits than I cared to know.
oh yeah, about the whole prost thing
i mean most of these guys they showed were like 70 yrs old. who cares if some 70 yr old guy has to get a prost to get off. i'd rather the police go crack down on real crime.
BTW, just a reminder, there is no "right" to drive. You have to qualify and agree to certain restrictions. You don't want to comply, there's always the bus.
Pros ution laws are stupid though.
You just don't appreciate how cramped it gets in the back of an Acura.
True story: I shared a three-level townhouse in Boston with two other med students and one local townie guy, who worked as an electrician (and made good money) but was on disability due to a "back injury" (so he made good money and did nothing during the day).
Anyway, one night we're all sitting around watching a game in the living room and Craig walks in with this incredibly hideous skank. Well, they go to their room and about a half hour later she comes into the living room and proceeds to head straight for the bourbon and help herself. We were like WTF? but really she was so foul that we just wanted her out of the room rather than spend the time arguing with her. On her way out, she sort of hinted that she was ready to make a little more money but, sadly, she wasn't able to find any takers.
You must have been broke, Shoogar.
No, they'll just go into the bar and try to arrest you before you get to that checkpoint.I by no means support drunk driving, but whats next? Checkpoints to see if you have porn? A banned book?
To be fair, before I met her I drove home a time or two after having had a liiiiiittle bit too much to drink. I usually kicked myself the next morning when I got up and realized what I did.my gf i currently date, her dad died in a dd accident and also dated a gf in hs whos best frined dide in a dd accident. but that doesnt mean you should pull over everyone. nor again, create crime. i mean ive been driving home plenty of times and seen people swerving and crossing lanes and drivinginto the grass and no cop to be seen. yet you could be driving perfect and be almost home and maybe had JJJJJJJUIUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTT enogh to go over "legal" and get ed. thats kinda gay

After seeing what her and her parents went through, and seeing the dumb drunk (who survived the wreck with only a broken arm to show for it) having to go through apologizing to them after the trial, I'll never do it again.
good to see Manny supports drunk driving.
Seriously dude. I totally agree with the last part. My mom got in trouble and got handed a DUI over a year ago (and she wasn't even ing drunk, she was upset because her boyfriend left her and she had a couple beers and left hours later) and it's totally crippled us. Drunk driving will never be stopped and I don't support driving drunk, but the check points is stupid. I think cops need to be less lazy fat s and pay more attention to the people on the road instead of waiting for a freebie.
As for the pros ution thing, it's bull .
One of my favorite quotes:
"I don't pay them for sex, I pay them to leave afterwards"

if her BAC was enough to warrant a DUI, then either she had more than "a couple beers" or didn't wait a few hours after drinking to leave. but anyway, i don't mind the checkpoints, i don't drive around like that anymore. getting drunk and driving around is illegal, and if you get caught with other like chode said, that's still illegal too. i especially agree with setting up checkpoints outside of bars who serve way past someone's limit just to get extra cash out of them - those bars deserve to get their liquor licenses revoked and catching them letting people walk out and drive hammered is a great way to do it.
