The Blazers are 2-1 after beating the Mavs in Dallas on Sunday night. It sounds like Zach Collins will miss the game after getting hurt against the Mavs. This should be a good litmus test for the Spurs -- and would be a nice time for Pop to breakout the Murray and White backcourt.

    Spurs favored by 5.5 points.

dis nikka thinking pop would breakout murray-white combo with mills and belli available

Spurs by 15 because of back to back and its a home game.

In other day the blazers would curbstomp any team that plays mills-Belli level kind of players extended periods

White and Murray won't play together until Murray's minute restriction is lifted. Pop will probably put Forbes and Mills on McCollum, so he will go for 30. Aldridge might struggle to post up Whiteside so DeRozan and Gay gotta pick up the slack. I hope Pop plays Walker again. Would usually say Blazers by 20 but since they are on a back to back it should be a nail biter

I’ll be optimistic and say the defense gets on track tonight. 113-106 Spurs

at least McCollum already got it going against the Mavs ... otherwise his first breakout this season after a slow start surely would have happened against the Spurs

as Murray will not see more minutes Lillard and CJ will have a field day against Forbes, Mills and Belli

Got Spurs by 6, Liliard and CJ will get there's but I don't think Portland is good this year so not sure it'll matter.

Pop will continue to trott out the dynamic duo of Patty and Marco, making this game harder to
win than it needs to be.

yes, finally a real test, looking at any possible change in rotation, I think Walker (and possibly Carroll) will have more minutes today.

It's going to be tough going 3 on 7 whenever the Mills , Belli duo goes in.

spurs have eked out two close wins against two likely lottery teams so far. how they fare tonight will give us a better sample of what to expect from this team, for at least the first part of the season.

Pop will probably go back to the Patty as PG lineup to close the 1st half. I'd pound that 1H line and take the Blazers tbh.

Pop said the first ten games ... then he can play about 30 minutes ... I hope he can reach 35 minutes at some point this season

Zach Collins is out for the Blazers tonight — Dislocated his shoulder last night in Dallas. Pau is out. Nurkic still out as well. I give the Spurs a puncher’s chance tonight for this reason.

Aldridge vs Whiteside should be fun.

Their young backup SG Anfernee Simons has looked good for them so far too. Look for him to torch Patty when the second unit comes in tbh.
