If you don't find what you're looking for in SA, Summers has one she really likes in San Marcos.
This is the only site of an SA parlor I've been able to find, it looks pretty good - but I'm hoping to solicit some feedback. I'm not adverse to taking a trip to San Marcos... but San Antonio is a big enough town where I should be able to find something here... I hope!

I knew a girl in college with tiger stripes in UV ink
I took my daughter to Platinum Tattoos and Piercings. They did a great job on her piercing. She had an upper ear cartilage piercing. And one of her friends and the friend's Mom both got belly rings done their a couple of weeks ago and were very happy. They are over on 410W. I think they were right by a Chili's maybe it was off of Bandera or Ingram or Evers. I can't really remember which exit. But their tattoo business was booming when we were in there.
I recommend Prick Tattoos on Starcrest...near Blossom Athletic Center. Mario did a recolor of my 2 Tatts, he specializes in Coverups and Custom Tattoos. Heis place is VERY CLEAN and he does take time to answer any questions you have. He does appointments only...not much of walkin stuff, he does not to rush any work to be done.
I will have him do some custom work on me when I get a few drawings in to him....
one of my employees has had alot of work done at Prick off of starcrest, both her and her boyfriend actually.
they seem to do good work.

There is a guy on Dog The Bounty Hunter with one and I saw a guy last week at Goodwill with one.
I don't know, I like Jordan and all but it seems kind of gay to get a Jumpman tat, especially if you get them as big as these guys did...
I know that's out of left field but KEDAs sig and avatar made me think of it...
I talked to Laraine at Dandyland on Friday afternoon and she is working on some drawings for my custom tat. I should be meeting back up with her next week to see what she came up with and move on from there.
Speaking of which she just went in for her second one from that shop. BTW the artist that is doing it actually has a degree in art, try finding THAT in any random tattoo shop.
