Peyton is definitely the frontrunner, but after that, it looks wide open.

    Palmer
    Brady
    Rivers
    McNair

If Rivers keeps up this pace, look for this first year starter to take a spot in Hawaii.

How could you put McNair in there? Go look at his numbers and tell me that you still think he deserves this spot. Rivers should be number 2 as well right behind Manning.

I was just throwing out some names and this was in no particular order, and I should have put Plummer up there as well. I don't think McNair has a chance at all. As of now, Rivers is #2.

Brady is winning games, but his numbers suck.
Rivers is winning games, and his numbers are very good.
Palmer is just so-so this year.
Plummer is always inconsistent, but he's still winning.
    McNair, probably not a chance.

Trust me, look at Plummer's numbers, he doesn't belong either. But yeah, if it was voted on today, it would be Manning, then Brady (only because the media loves him so damn much), Rivers, and then Palmer.

David Carr is throwing up pro bowlesque numbers as well though. He might need to be considered.

I had completely forgotten about him being that he plays for the Houstons. Don't they take winning into consideration as well?

I'm changing my rankings to the following

Manning (undefeated and still heavyweight champion)
Rivers (probably should be ahead of Manning but.......)
Pennington (didn't realize he was playing as well as he is)
Palmer (Just because I hate Tom Brady)

@ those "experts" who predicted the Rivers over Brees switch wouldn't work out.

@ the Dolphins choosing Culpepper over Brees.
