Kidd Talks About Interest In USA Basketball
Jason Kidd confirmed Friday that he is interested in playing for Team USA next summer, and Jerry Colangelo says that Kidd's agent has contacted him twice about the idea. Kidd says that he had a place on the team this past summer if he wanted it, but he didn't want to make the three-year commitment. Kidd, who won a gold medal in the Sydney Olympics in 2000, is 28-0 in international compe ion.

JKidd's game is unsuited to the international game. You need to be able to shoot.

So Team USA wanted three year committments from players but now that Kidd wants in, they are supposed to make an exception?

Nice, especially Kidd admitting not wanting to make the three year committment.

    Exactly.

Screw Kidd and his wants. If he wasn't willing to commit, then he and his agent can shut the up.

Kidd is already a first-ballot hall of fame lock.

But as for "needs the ball in his hands to be effective", just what can Jason Kidd do without the ball in his hands? That's an absurd argument.
