did you know that it's a copy from a Hong Kong movie trilogy called "Internal Affairs"

if you like the departed you should watch internal affairs it kicks the departed's ass....more intense, stylish, and IMO better directed, not only that but the ending is 10x better

1. Oh no! Haven't you read? These aren't plot holes! This was exactly what Scorsese wanted. These "holes" make it more realistic and seal this movie's fate as the best movie of the decade. Geez...

2. Maybe since the movie was about rats, the plot represented the cheese. All of the holes make it swiss...genius!

IMO the biggest flaw of the departed is the character development. I guess it's typical hollywood, not really my style...
