Try uninstalling limewire and deleting all associated apps and files.
If that fixes it, you know that was your problem.
i took my laptop over my friends house and all of a sudden it started getting pop ups and makeing weird noises and acting crazy...i had my virus thing say it deleted all of the pop ups and trojans but it just keeps comming back..im thinkn its lime wire cause i just installed it so please some one help me

Anyone using or loading the original Kazaa or Limewire needs to flush out their headgear. They are loaded with crap. If you're going to steal content, at least be smart about it and load a bit torrent client.
haha wow im 18 not 13....
ok now it wont let me see the icons...everytime i turn on the computer it shows my spurs background but it doesnt have any icons or places to click..is it to late?
shut down ----> at restart when bottom bar is about to show, press F8...key down to option to restart in safe mode ---> let computer start in safe mode...
Go to Start ---> All programs---Accessories ---> system tools - System restore to a day before your computer started acting weird.
