...yeah, the odds are in the cardinals favor. but i'll stick with my original prediction of the Mets in 7. i think the Mets Offense (Beltran and Delgado) light up Suppan and the Mets win.
St Louis will be playing in their 14th Game 7, which breaks the record in all of sports.![]()
The Cards are going against the Mets' Oliver Perez, who has the worst winning percentage(3-13) of any pitcher to ever start a playoff game, and they are putting Jeff Suppan on the mound who has started more playoff games than any pitcher ever, in a 3 year span.
Good stuff.
Go Cardinals!!!

mets will win. they've got the momentum
the won one game in a row, and that is momentum?

I agree. They played an elimination game last night, the Cards did not. Lets see what both teams look like when their proverbial "back is to the wall". Tonight will be awesome.
Good luck to both teams.
16 Innings? As a Tiger fan I can only hope it goes that long, have both teams blow out their bullpens and benches two nights before the World Series.
i'd like to see an extra inning game....that would be fun.
I say walk Beltran and Delgado and pitch to everyone else
only if the cardinals want to win.
And here I was thinking David Wright would pop up to C.
sorry could not help myself![]()
According to ESPN Sportsnation, every state in the US has the Tigers winning the World Series...woot.
Nice way to tie it up on a suicide squeeze by Ronnie Belliard.
Gotta hope Suppan keeps em off the board, and the Cardinal bats magically wake up.
Are there any words to describe the mountain of suckage that is Joe Buck?
So if the ball hits the ground first then hits you, you get to take your base? What's with that?
Suppan pitchin a good one.
Offense needs a machete upside the head.
ALl this Perez humping can only mean he's about to give up a long ball.
Now that was a nice ing catch and double play. He had to be 4 feet over teh wall to get that one.
What a spectacular clutch catch. Simply amazing.
That might have been the greatest catch I've ever seen.
That was up there with Willie Mays off Vic Wertz.
Oliver should probably name his first three children after Endy.
