Did you know that there was a terra attack in the U.S. on the fifth anniversary of 911? Most American who listen to the M$M don't...

The terrorists who aren't in the news
Anti-abortion fanatics spread fear by bombings, murders and assaults, but the media take little notice

On Sept. 11, 2006- the fifth anniversary of the terror attacks that devastated our nation, a man crashed his car into a building in Davenport, Iowa, hoping to blow it up and kill himself in the fire.

No national newspaper, magazine or network newscast reported this attempted suicide bombing, though an AP wire story was available. Cable news (save for MSNBC's Keith Olbermann) was silent about this latest act of terrorism in America.

Had the criminal, David McMenemy, been Arab or Muslim, this would have been headline news for weeks. But since his target was the Edgerton Women's Health Center, rather than, say, a bank or a police station, media have not called this terrorism - even after three decades of extreme violence by anti-abortion fanatics, mostly fundamentalist Christians who believe they're fighting a holy war.

Since 1977, casualties from this war include seven murders, 17 attempted murders, three kidnappings, 152 assaults, 305 completed or attempted bombings and arsons, 375 invasions, 482 stalking incidents, 380 death threats, 618 bomb threats, 100 acid attacks, and 1,254 acts of vandalism, according to the National Abortion Federation.

Abortion providers and activists received 77 letters threatening anthrax attacks before 9/11, yet the media never considered anthrax threats as terrorism until after 9/11, when such letters were delivered to journalists' offices and members of Congress.

    ....

As we continue national debates on how to keep America safe from terrorism, journalists do us - and especially women - no good pretending that the threats come only from radical Muslims outside our borders.

I am anti-abortion. And I'm not anti-abortion of the "personally against, but it's not up to me" variety. But these violent thug sickos disgust me. Claiming to be pro-life and yet willing to take lives for that cause isn't merely contradictory, it's the worst sort of murder there is.

I would have no problem at all if these stories were publicized further. I hope everyone who calls themselves pro-life would unconditionally condemn the actions of these bas s.

The problem is, they won't. They'll sound like the "moderate" Muslims, tsk tsking, but saying they understand what pushed them to it...

At the rate these aborto-terrorists are going, in approximately 10,000 years they will have exacted a similar toll upon America compared to what Islamic terror has in the last five.

In geologic time, 10,000 years is just a blink of the eye. We cannot afford to wait out these crimes against humanity.

And invariably, these Aborto-fascists are evangelical Christians.

So, without delay, clearly it is time for those who wish to protect fundamental human reproductive rights to declare war against Christianity.

I ask only that every left-wing moonbat contact their Democratic Congressperson or Senator demanding that if Democrats win back either House, they initiate a campaign to search out these dangerous subversives. They apparently meet once a week behind closed doors to plot against America!

I definitely don't condone the actions of these 'radicals'... by the same token however, I don't see the article rushing to label the medics that practice at these abortion clinics as 'terrorsists'... it would be interesting to tally up the amount of fetuses that were murdered in that same span of time. I'm willing to bet the ratio is less than 0.01%.

Leave it to this abrasive broad to take a premise that 99.9999% of the country agrees with her on and still it up.

    http://desmoinesregister.com/apps/pb...2022/1001/NEWS

Davenport, Ia. — A man accused of ramming his car into a women's clinic and then setting his car on fire thought it was an abortion clinic, police said Tuesday.

    ....

He's accused of driving his car into the Edgerton Women's Health Center about 4:30 a.m. on Monday.

    ....

Bowers estimated damage to the building at more than $20,000. No one was in the building at the time, and McMenemy was not injured.
How do you get SUICIDE BOMBING from that???

    Idiot.

I mean what is this country coming to when the National M$M can't make time in their news schedules on the 5th anniversary of 9/11 to cover an attempted arson?

^^There was this group of African-American guys who through an FBI mole, took and oath of loyalty to al Quada and supposedly had plans to blow up the Sears Tower. They were just plain incompetent idiots as demostrated by the fact that when the mole asked what they needed for supplies, they wanted sneakers.

Yeah but that was in June. One of the points I was trying to make is that the "National Media" this woman is criticizing was focused on the anniversary of 9/11.

Now, if the Sears Tower plot had broken on 9/11/06 would it have been on National News? Probably. But there's a more clear "news" connection between an al Qaeda linked Terror Plot and the 9/11 Anniversary than some guy who wrecked his car into an empty clinic at 4:30am.

When murders have happened at abortion clinics, they've gotten plenty of coverage. The author loses all credibility by embellishing what actually took place. If even 1 person had been killed as a result of this, she might have a point. As it is, she's either stupid or she's a liar.

Not so far-fetched when you consider the religious overtones in this attack, it was still an attack, right Sperm? This guy thought, like all the rest of the extremists who have bombed, arsoned, and attacked with automatic weapons, abortion clinics, that he was doing the lord's work here on earth. Well, turns out the crazies who did 911 thought the same thing.

Not terrarism? If its not, then you clearly don't understand that terra is both a tactical technique used in battle and an ideology used to spread intimidation and fear.

I didn't say it wasn't terrorism, I said it wasn't a suicide bombing. There are many levels of terrorism, including every death threat Barry Bonds gets in the mail. They don't all make national news and they don't need to.

People like this writer give credibility to Ann Coulter when she makes reference to the Abortion Party. I'm pro-choice, but not to the point where I'm going to take liberties to equate some idiot attempting to burn down an empty clinic with plots to blow up planes full of passengers.

What imperical data did the article provide that substantiated his motives were religious based? The article made a generalized leap of editorial licensing by sticking this conditional statement at the end of the paragraph that the majority of people who commit these crimes are fundamentalist Christians.

Additionally, if you read the entire article (that you failed to copy), the only "religious" group that is mentioned is the Army of God, a fringe nut group that conservative Christians along with everyone else have adamantly denounced. While the article does state that it does not know if this guy was a part of the Army of God, it sowed yet another seed of bias by insinuating that he could very well be.

Seems you were a bit too excited to bash conservative Christians to catch the lack of connectivity between this incident/person and any known religious group or motive. But hey, let's not let facts get in the way of the author's agenda.

Yes, that's exactly what I said. Great reading skills there.

It's only fair that we declare war on Christianity.

Christianity is a religion. Islam is a religion. Terrorists claiming to represent each have killed at least one person. Pluralism and multiculturalism demands that we crack down on each group equally! How irresponsible and culturally insensitive of journalists not to treat 9/11, and bombing abortion clinics as exactly the same! We must be evenhanded!

The New York Newsday has cast the light upon the Christian menace, and how our government is covering it up!

Remember America, vote for Democrats, or the Christians win!
