too much love for the cavs and the sixers.
Not that week two power rankings are worth a , but how do the Pistons stay above the Kings, who just beat them and have a better record?
My Sixers at 3-2 better than the 4-2 Lakers and 4-1 Clippers? Doesn't make any sense...
Ummmm....Tim Duncan has been dominant almost at will. And when he’s not destroying the comp, the Spurs are just running a regular offensive clinic.
How the are the Pistons in the top 10? Is the rest of the league that bad?
These rankings obviously have no subjectivity in them as they have Miami, Phoenix & Dallas in the bottom 11 teams. That's ridiculous no matter how poorly those teams have played thus far.
and why is that? does last year count in this years power rankings?
You're right, the Heat, Suns & Mavs will all finish in the bottom 11 of the NBA this season because they don't have good records after the first week![]()
it's about how youre playing that particular week.. not what youre capable of playing like or how you played in the past. the mavs wont be in the top 10 next week... but with another win or two should be in the low-mid teens.
Exactly. Power rankings don't look at the future; they look at NOW. So why should the Mavs and Heat be up there NOW?
Don't try and explain it. It's obvious he/she doesn't follow NBA basketball.
