H-E-B Plus Or Wal-Mart Supercenters?

Which is better to you guys? I've never been to an H-E-B Plus before so I can't really say much about comparing them to a Wal-mart. From what I've heard they're pretty bad ass being that it's an H-E-B with an added twist. I wish they would make one on the N.E side of San Antonio, like out of the old Super-K building that's been vacant for over 2 years off I-35 and O'Connor rd. That would be a prime location for one, being that the nearest H-E-B's are kinda far. Plus, it would be right by a busy interstate in a prime location with a lot of traffic. Anyway, which is better?

Coming to Round Rock soon. I bet San Antonio will get one of these in the next couple of years though the way development has been going around here.

I used to think Wal-Mart always had lower prices but that isn't always the case. We've compared prices and Wal-mart is not always the lowest.

In my experience is usually averages out.

I am really preferring HEB simply because of their customer service, I'm getting tired of going to Walmart and standing in line forever, especially if I go after ten at night...

I also like how they put coupons out next to the products they go with, I saved two bucks on razors last week...

I agree. But we used coupons like there is no tomorrow and HEB makes it convenient. But we always have our mini "coupon folding file" on hand.
I'm glad HEB is going head to head with Wal-Mart. We all benefit in the long run.

I am building right there next to the new HEB plus and it is awesome. The gas was like 1.89 for a few weeks. It recently went up to 1.95

That new one on Potranco is awesome. I just went there today and it was amazing...huge!!

Plus it's the closest HEB to my house now I love it.

heb plus is pretty cool but to much walking, the meat market on culebra is better. Plus you don't have to dress up.

I like HEB Plus on Military because they give free samples.

^Never been to an HEB plus, but they're getting ready to build one right near where I live in Kyle (between San Marcos and Buda). I know for sure that I can't stand Walmart in any capacity (crappy produce section, poor customer service, the facial expressions of the employees there who look like they're just waiting for a good time to kill themselves instead of working at Walmart). So I'm looking forward to having an HEB Plus nearby, will give an update sometime in 2007 when it's finally completed.

I hate the way people get treated at walmart. and god forbid oyu have a question. they have no idea.

The prices even out. I saw the Go Diego Go talking rescue pack at HEB for $1.50 less than at wallymart.


and I LOVE heb plus.
althoguh they don;t sell clothes... then again walmart clothes only last a few months.
