Not just in the semifinals, Spurs will be in the Finals.
You guys came back form 17 points and almost won the game. This game came down to who ever made the last basket. You showed the NBA world you are a team that will be in the semi finals for sure. And as a Dallas Maverick fan I can't wait till we meet again. Good Game see you next time.
Mav Fan out........![]()

SA and DAL are easily the two best teams in the league. How many times in an NBA season is the first and 13th games of the year a playoff atmosphere? SA vs. DAL (barring any major injury on either side) will be another great, prolly 7 game, playoff series.

see you January 5th.![]()
Now they changed the rules this year so if the they are both 1 and 2 in terms of record they should meet in the WCF right.
That is a good post. You have class. Too bad your owner doesn't! He's the reason I hate the Mavs! Anytime you want to switch over and root for the Silver and Black, I will welcome a classy fan to the Spurs fold! GO SPURS GO!

We need more fans like you around here. Grated it's fun having the trolls around. But it's nice to engage in sone intelligent Basketball talk with other fans in the league.
Until we meet again!
come and tell me this same thing when your mavs lose and ill believe you a little more
That'd be mouse....
That is the thing the Spurs fans ing fail to realize. EVERY GAME against the Mavs they have to come from behind to win! That says alot. The Mavs control just about every game they have played dating back to last year. We build a lead and the only way the Spurs can win is by making that extra effort and winning at the last second. No the Spurs arent easy and they are a very good team but this says alot about how much better the Mavs are then the Spurs. The fact we control the games each meeting seperates how much better we are then them. Changes....![]()
yeah i guess so but we are not known yet for beating our arch-nemesis after a long time of trying and then failing to win the championship against an eastern squad. relax, mavs arent better, i dont see anything from them but one on one jumpshots all the time.
i stand corrected, props to ur team. i really really hate dirk nowitzki, he's just so damn good
Ah, yes. Nothing like a bit of delusion of grandure.
Mavs controling the game? Ok, so if the Mavs are REALLY controlling these games, then why don't you guys blow us out by 20 or something? From my perspective, the Mavs just keep choking up the lead. The only thing that you guys need the refs to bail you out of a choke job (Game 7, last night...). So if anything, you guys have an edge with an asterix, since you didn't actually completly beat us without help from the greysuits.
I wouldn't get to y about "changes", considering that it's still November. Keep living in fantasy land.
They've pretty much spotted every team about 15 points this season, this one just happen to come up A BUCKET short, so your actually A BUCKET better than the others. We have a new center so we'll take this loss with grain of salt and finish the job come playoff time.
may be if manu was in the game (in the 4th quarter) we would have won.......
Note to self: DAllas won
Both teams at certain moments appeared braindead. Watching Harris get upset is pretty funny, freshman funny, but he played well. I like games that aren't a "ref calling foul fest". They let them play.
Three championships and counting. Its only November. Two months from now we'll have to jog our memory vigorously to recall who won which games against whom in November. I love the Spurs' chances.
We lost, but the thing I liked the most about the Spurs is that Pop was yelling at people and chewing some butt. I just was amazed that last year he let things slide, he's not doing that this year. I didn't like the lineup for the start of the 4th, but I can't argue that Pop was making moves to win this game. Both our starting guards played poorly, Manu made a lot of unforced errors and worse he made bad decisions that led to missed opportunities, as did Tony. But I still think this team will be gold by the end of the year.
Much appreciated. Personally, I'm still pissed at the Spurs for losing that game. However, it's yet another painful reminder that the Mavs will again be the major hurdle the Spurs will need to climb to get to the next level.
Here's to what we can expect to be yet another "knock-down-drag-out" finish to the regular season and another epic playoff series in the WCF between these two teams.
See you in January
