Milk? hot dog chili?
I know there's a dip you can make using velveeta, ground beef, and something else...
Actually I don't know if there's anything else but there might be rotel or some other type of salsa...
Anybody got a recipe?
Add pasta and cream of mushroom soup and you have a cheap and easy casserole. Or add a can of ro-tel tomatoes and you have a great cheese dip for nachos.
Easy Beef Dip
1 pound lean ground beef
1 pound process cheese food (like Velveeta), cut into cubes
1 can (16 oz.) chili without beans
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1. In large skillet or microwave, brown ground beef, stirring until no pink remains. Drain and rinse, if desired.
2. Add cheese, chili and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until melted. OR Place in slow cooker on High for 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
3. Serve hot with tortilla chips or over salad ingredients for taco salad.
Option: Use one jar (8 oz.) salsa or picante sauce in place of chili and Worcestershire sauce.
Rotel owns all.
Velveeta, Jimmy Dean Sausage, Rotel...
When my dad makes it he adds jalapeño juice for that extra kick.
I was going to make some tonight but I'd rather go out drinking. lol
Have fun.![]()
I'm watching a fight tonight at home....
Anything other than Ro-Tel in that mix is a freaking crime.
hot HEB brand sausage is the best.
macaroni
i think the last ingredient is rotel. that queso is one evil .
damn... shoulda read the thread.
rotel = $$$
Add a half-ounce of crushed chile petins.
More chile petins = more queso for me.
ro-tel = ConAgra industrial canned = tricked up with salt and sugar

Can't they make this stuff without the added salt and sugar?
velveeta
groundbeef
rotel (HOT)
1/2 can cream of mushroom
2 tbsp. water
in a crockpot
top with diced jalepenos
cream of mushroom (condenseed straight from the can) in dip = smooth and creamy.![]()
Well it doesn't have very much sugar at all, seeing as it has only 4 carbs per 1/2 cup.
My sister used to date this guy whose mother was a packrat and never threw anything away. She was house sitting for them and grabbed some Velveeta to eat only to find that it expired 5 years prior!
I always thought Velveeta had a shelf life of forever!
And the carbs come from the tomatoes, so it's not refined sugar....there's no added sugar in it.
He would have had a much better case against the gluttony of fat-ass Americans if he'd linked to Velveeta nutritional information.![]()
Beat me to it.![]()
