Miami Talking Maggette Trade With Clippers?

According to a league source, the Heat have been in contact with the Clippers about a possible trade for swingman Corey Maggette.
Maggette has been on the trading block since last season, and the Heat have players that are in a similar salary range to Maggette, including James Posey and Antoine Walker.
Maggette is under contract through next season with a player option for the 2008-09 season.

That's right.
maggette would bring instant scoring and starting ability... the problem is, he has the exact same type of game as DWade...
With Maggette, Wade, and Shaq, they'd set a league record for free throw attempts.

Clips don't need a boat anchor like Walker.
Why the would the Clips take Walker?
So the Clippers trade a ballhog with an unreliable jumpshot and a knack for making stupid mistakes on defense for an older, slower player with an even less reliable jumpshot, who can't finish, who plays no defense whatsoever, and who's under contract for Riley only knows how many more years?
I like Posey, though.

Unless the Heat sweeten the deal by offering Dorell Wright along with Walker, why the would the Clippers even talk about trading Maggette for Antoine?
