If you multiply the rows by the columns you get 1410 pictures of people. Where does that number come from? Also if you zoom on the left hand side of the picture wou will notice that there are at least a few repeats of the pictures. Also, I believe the pictues gamma values have been modified and many have been cropped to better "fill" in the collage.
It is an interesting idea, although I believe it's been done before. You can gather many different feelings from it and what it is supposed to represent. Moore no doubt, wants you to see the wrong of these soldiers dying under Bush. I choose to believe it represents the tough decisions that a president must make and how those decisions make up the man who is our leader.
