    To the Bush supporters:

Congratulations. You fought hard (albeit a dirty fight) and won. A true test of democracy, a close election, but I believe in our electoral process, and am willing to admit that you won fair & square. Again, my congratulations.
Damn that was hard to write.

    To my fellow Kerry supporters:

We have lost. We must concede that with grace and dignity. But the fight has only begun. We have worked hard and the division in this country runs deep, as is so evident by the results of this election. But the work is not over, it has merely begun.

We must begin now...not wait until 2008 to get the word out. Bush's record of the past 4 years was not washed clean with this election. It is our job to continue to educate the public, and make some attempt to eliminate the apathetic stance that the majority of our country has taken. Half of this country is still not taking part in the electoral process, and it is those citizens that can make the difference for us in the future.

The electoral process has not failed us. It is our fellow citizens that have failed us. It is those who are more interested in who gets voted off the island rather than who gets voted into the White House that are desecrating democracy. It is the people who care more about Desperate Housewives on television instead of desolate families in their neighborhoods that are dismantling the very ideals of this country.

I do not blame the opposing party..just some of the right wingers..they worked just as hard for causes that they believe in just as strongly as we do. I respect them completely, tho' disagree with their views. But they are active. They, with us, keep democracy alive.

We cannot afford to allow our disappointment to translate into sitting on our duffs for two or three years, and then try to get our together in a few months prior to an election. The time is NOW, the next campaign starts today.

    The revolution starts now.

You still don't get it. As long as you and your side continue to believe in that stereotype then you are going to lose again and again.

I for one am surprised since Bill Clinton gave the Demos a prime example of how a Democrat candidate can be quite compe ive across the US including the South and Midwest. It's interesting that when those people were voting for Clinton they weren't demeaned as they are now. They haven't changed. But they've noticed that what they are hearing from your side has.

Also, you don't care about others more than the next guy. The difference is in the method.

There are some things in your post I completely disagree with and are not supported by facts.

However, I will give you much credit for posting a more reasoned writing than I normally associate with your username.

    Kudos to you.

Both Democrats and Republicans need to realize that people who support the other party just share different political views. No one has failed anyone. Supporters on both sides voted for the candidate who best represented their political beliefs. Like I was telling Yonivore (spelling?) in another thread, the other side is not ignorant/uniformed because they don't share the same opinion.

Please keep up with the intellectual superiority bull .

For one, you look stupid when you've got people like Michael Moore and the cute little 90210 clique claiming to be the heart and soul of America.

And second, as long as you and your fellow libs have that air of superiority (particularly your party leadership) you'll keep getting punked at the ballot box ever four years.

I'm reminded of one of my favorite songs. The lyrics are a little dated, but some 30-ish years later, they still drip with meaning.

Talk about a man ahead of his time!! This man practically created rap music - in 1970.

You will not be able to stay home, brother.

You will not be able to plug in, turn on and cop out.

You will not be able to lose yourself on skag and skip,

Skip out for beer during commercials,

Because the revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be brought to you by Xerox

In 4 parts without commercial interruptions.

The revolution will not show you pictures of Nixon

blowing a bugle and leading a charge by John

Mitc , General Abrams and Spiro Agnew to eat

hog maws confiscated from a Harlem sanctuary.

The revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be brought to you by the

Schaefer Award Theatre and will not star Natalie

Woods and Steve McQueen or Bullwinkle and Julia.

The revolution will not give your mouth sex appeal.

The revolution will not get rid of the nubs.

The revolution will not make you look five pounds

thinner, because the revolution will not be televised, Brother.

There will be no pictures of you and Willie May

pushing that shopping cart down the block on the dead run,

or trying to slide that color television into a stolen ambulance.

NBC will not be able predict the winner at 8:32

    or report from 29 districts.

The revolution will not be televised.

There will be no pictures of pigs shooting down

    brothers in the instant replay.

There will be no pictures of pigs shooting down

    brothers in the instant replay.

There will be no pictures of Whitney Young being

run out of Harlem on a rail with a brand new process.

There will be no slow motion or still life of Roy

Wilkens strolling through Watts in a Red, Black and

Green liberation jumpsuit that he had been saving

    For just the proper occasion.

Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies, and Hooterville

Junction will no longer be so damned relevant, and

women will not care if finally gets down with

Jane on Search for Tomorrow because Black people

will be in the street looking for a brighter day.

The revolution will not be televised.

There will be no highlights on the eleven o'clock

news and no pictures of hairy armed women

liberationists and Jackie Onassis blowing her nose.

The theme song will not be written by Jim Webb,

Francis Scott Key, nor sung by Glen Campbell, Tom

Jones, Johnny Cash, Englebert Humperdink, or the Rare Earth.

The revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be right back after a message

bbout a white tornado, white lightning, or white people.

You will not have to worry about a dove in your

bedroom, a tiger in your tank, or the giant in your toilet bowl.

The revolution will not go better with Coke.

The revolution will not fight the germs that may cause bad breath.

The revolution will put you in the driver's seat.

The revolution will not be televised, will not be televised,

will not be televised, will not be televised.

    The revolution will be no re-run brothers;

The revolution will be live. The revolution will not be televised.

    Right on

The slogan "Born to Run" from Kerry..
"His Daddy told him he would be president; he had seen to it" Gore
    turned me off-big time.

Sorry about the revolution Johnny but about 60% for the eligible voters is about
the best you are going to get.

If you expect the younger people to vote, bring back the draft.

Good luck in getting more people to vote. I hope you continue to ride around on your white horse. Mine died.

It is a shame but when you get OLD you get tired of paying for others. You don't
mind giving a hand but you do mind giving a hand-out to those that won't help themselves.

Until the Democrats realize that most Americans can think for themselves, don't want to kill babies, AND have a basic set of MORAL values... there will be no "revolution".

The democratic party, as we know it, is done.
