Warriors' tepid pursuit of Iverson comes to end
PHOENIX - The Warriors are out of the Allen Iverson sweepstakes, though they were never as much in the running as some suggested.

Multiple sources have confirmed that the Warriors are no longer in trade discussions with the Philadelphia 76ers for the guard.

The Warriors were regulars in the rumor mill, and were reported to be a front-runner at one point. But the teams haven't talked about a possible trade for days.

``It's not going to happen,'' one source said, ``and that's not my opinion.''

Another source said the talks were never serious anyway and that the Warriors never discussed trading Baron Davis, Andris Biedrins, Jason Richardson or Monta Ellis.
