It won't matter as we will own both of them. Leastern Conference has no chance.
It looks like it might be Boston. But the Lake show would have home court against the Pistons.

Lakers don't have home court in either matchup.
Ahh. This place is such a fountain of information.
2-3-2 favors the road team btw more than 2-2-1-1-1
Look everyone wants to see the Lakers vs Beantown..
That said, I have said all year long, that Boston is beatable...
They are the a complete repeat of the SHAQHeat...a team pieced together with one objective to buy a le, what they dont have is brotherhood, I do think they lack that...KG and Pierce get along ok and certainly Ray Al too, but Posey PJ Bown, this is the same science experiement they did in miami, but this time they will have to face a team with HEART, with guts........
For sure the NBA doesnt want Det vs the Spurs![]()
Damn, lakerfan really cares about what spurfans think.
Actually, this (e.g., the standings) is pretty basic stuff for informed (i.e., Spurs) fans.![]()
I'll be pulling for the Pistons to take them. Not that I'll be watching.
Without conceding this series is over (recall 3-1 lead Lakers had over Phoenix--even with Raja Bell suspended for one game)--I would prefer to see Both Garnett and Doc Rivers get a ring over Kobe and Phil Jackson.
Umm... fellow Lakers fans... if you're going to bait Spurs fans and just come in here and talk ish, then go post on LG or CL... or whatever Lakers forum you post on. Posting on here does you no good, does the Lakers no good and makes all of us look bad.
With that said, Lakers still need to win 1 more game. That Suns series when the Lakers were up 3-1 and then Suns won the series has kept that in my mind. To advance, you need 4 wins.
Gee, whiz. We'd hate to make you look bad. Please give us instructions on where to post, and make sure that no smack is given, or sensitivities bruised.
Bite me.
Boston Herald asks Boston who'd they'd like to see in the Finals.

Three percent said Spurs/Pistons.
Maybe you should go vote.
Spurs In 7 Over Lakers. Book It.
Spurs-Pistons Final.
Grow up man, talking on a forum does not make you more of a man. Ease up.
You know, I read your message the first time.
I disapproved.
Repeating the same concept is not going to change my mind. Particularly when it comes with a condescending at ude.
I do not "talk " on the forum, nor do I take etiquette instructions from newbies.
Bite me.
I prefer rapists don't get hyped/lauded by the media and cheered in finals games in front of millions of people.
I wonder what would make LakerFan stop sucking Kobe...
Rape didn't do it.
Breaking up a championship team didn't do it.
Demanding a trade didn't do it.
I don't have a doubt drugs wouldn't do it...that leaves murder, and you know...I actually don't think that would do it. Seriously. Didn't seem to hurt OJ's popularity.
The sooner LA slides into the Ocean the better IMO...that's the final I want to see.
According to A.C. Nielsen:
Network Year Finals Rating
NBC 2001 Los Angeles Lakers 4, Philadelphia 76ers 1- 12.1
NBC 2002 Los Angeles Lakers 4, New Jersey Nets 0 - 10.2
ABC 2003 San Antonio Spurs 4, New Jersey Nets 2 - 6.5
ABC 2004 Detroit Pistons 4, Los Angeles Lakers 1 - 11.5
ABC 2005 San Antonio Spurs 4, Detroit Pistons 3 - 8.2
ABC 2006 Miami Heat 4, Dallas Mavericks 2 - 8.5
ABC 2007 San Antonio Spurs 4, Cleveland Cavaliers 0 - 6.2
Gee, y'think America wants to see another Spurs final?
It's ABC, not Stern, that wants to see a Lakers-Celtics final. ABC paid the dough, even if no one watches. But they promise their advertisers numbers, based on history.
That's a lot of facts in one post, Don. Looks like America has spoken. With their remotes.
Please don't offend steez's sensitivities.
Wow! Never heard the ole no one wants to watch the Spurs so they shouldn't be allowd to play in the finals argument before...
You win points for originality
And character.
Don never said they shouldn't be allowed to play.
He said ABC's preference would be for the Lakers.
Please don't twist his words.
That's right.
Spurs should be allowed to play and lose, unless they are overwhelmingly superior.
Which happened an amazing number of times, for a small market.
Time is up.
Business is business.
And NBA basketball is NOT a sport, it's business.
Keep watching, and cheering, and don't forget to "feel" like "champions".
We are all passionate about the teams we root for. But we're talking about a game involving freakishly tall and big men who are paid an obscene amount of money to run up and down a court and put a ball through a hoop. The one who does it the most times wins.
If you're getting your sensibilities offended by other followers of the GAME simply because they choose to poke fun at others who also follow the game, you need to take some time off and reorganize your priorities.
That being said, take a stick. Poke at the natives. It's fun.
