i know an Arlitt and Piedlot from yoakum. they thought VICTORIA was badass, so that tells you how much yoaktown sucks right there.

yeah, i always thought it was funny that when i would visit my grandmother in Yoakum, some cousins would always refer to victoria as "the city", and they would get excited about going to the mall there and . small town folk are pretty funny to me. i don't know how the my dad managed to grow up in that hole.

damn.. well im only 23 so i've only been frequenting the bars of victoria for about 5 or 6 years and i dont think i've ever been to wranglers. where is it ?
Used to be in the mall back when rocks were soft and dinosaurs roamed the earth (back in '95).
, the mall was big time. They even had a Chelsea Street Pub there.
I used to deliver phone cable to SBC yards in the area, but we never got any deliveries to the Yoakum yard. Finally after about 2 years, I got a delivery to Yoakum and when I showed up with the technician's cable, the dude got PISSED that I even showed up.
I couldn't figure out why the guy went off on me for bringing him his cable and then it dawned on me...He's pissed because now he has to get off his fat ass and do some WORK!
dude those people make PLANS early in the week to go to the MOVIES in TOWN on the weekend, it was like a big ordeal for them, like planning a vacation :rofl
there is almost nothing funnier than that when it comes to small town folk
