Yes, Saco crushes them Fakers.
Is there anyone who really enjoys Barkley's takes on basketball?
Seriously, hes OK when he's making jokes about being black, but when he talks about basketball, he makes lazy statements.
i think he's great commenting on any and everything.
I think he's usually correct about a lot of things in the NBA. He was always dead on accurate about the Mavs back when they didn't play any D (under Nelson). I'm sure he'd say the same thing about the current Suns if he didn't have ties there (and live there).
Pumpkinhead must be on crack if he think he be gov of Alabama.
He makes me laugh and yes he was right about the Mavs...then AND now, haha. Anyway, he doesn't homer too much on the Suns, he didn't during the playoffs last season and he's certainly not homering on them now because he still thinks the Mavs and Spurs are the top two teams...there is no three-way tie according to him. He doesn't always follow all the trends because he didn't think the Mavs were that good until they beat San Antonio when they had been playing well all season and had changed their style of play since the previous season. When Reggie and Magic would go out on alimb for the Mavericks last season, Kenny and Charles just laughed...and it wasn't because of the Heat, they were not predicting the Mavs to ever get past the Spurs last season.
He did a nice job tonight I was kind of shocked.
True but he had to explain the difference between a good player and a great player about 10 different times during the telecast.
Plus I hear he is going to race Bavetta the full length of the basketball court after the game. "No way I'm gonna lose a race to a 65 year old man. You kidding me"
Barkeley is hilarious. You can clearly tell he couldn't be a good coach. He's giving advise to every player on every play. Cook was wide open during a play. When Cook passed up the shot, he said, "Shoot the ball. Oh my God! You've been on fire all night. Shoot it. If you're scared, get a dog"

I don't mind him in the studio but he sucked ass toniight.
You don't think your fatass might be a little slower than someone who runs for a living?
Barkley was hilarious. Here were a few other good ones.
"Well you can't hate a guy named Douby."
"You have two refs who parted the sea with Moses."
I thought Barkley was awesome
He should definitely do it more often, he's about a gazillion times better than any of the other color commentators they have.
I know what you're talking about. I was like ok Damn, I got it...Kobe is a great player, not a good one. Move on!
I think Doug Collins does an excellent job. He's not funny but if youre watching an NBA game and want funny, flip over to Raymond during commerials. Doug collins does the best job of TNT or ESPN's color guys at keeping my interest, explaining detail play and strategy and weakness/strengths of players WITHOUT talking down to the viewer.
True basketaball fans want inside knowledge, not one liners.
But your not a fool, are you?
I agree, but I think we're in the minority on this opinion. I've always liked Collins as the color guy even though he brings zero humor to the broadcast. I don't see it as the color guy's job to entertain me.
i totally agree - doug collins is extremely good at explaining things that are going on, hes got a good eye for momentum and hes informed about the teams that are playing, and hes just good to listen to.
collins is ok, i just can't stand his delivery.
Is the guy in your avatar the guy from the Good, The Bad and the Ugly?
tuco ramirez may be the best movie character ever.
I've got a friend who went to the game and she cussed him out for being such a King's hater and idiot. There wasn't much he could say to that so he said "I don't hate the Kings, happy New year to you."
What a nice friend she must be![]()
Good for Chuck for taking the high road and not stooping down to your "friends" level.
Chuck had me laughing all night long. I wish they'd invite him to do that more often.
