Damn you, I've been saying that since the Feb.
Lendale White will have more td's his first 2 season than Bush does his entire career.
Damn you, I've been saying that since the Feb.
nope. sorry guys. his game will translate to the nfl much easier than young's will.
Holmes_Fans-
...you've got some serious issues. care to make a wager against your outlandish claim?
Lendale White? Dough boy will be lucky to lock up the 3rd RB spot in Tenn.
Reggie Bush showed why in the rosebowl he will be a bust. All season he played against slow pac10 defenses. Against Texas except for his 1 long TD run he was shut down. He is no where near a powerback like White is, bush relies on outjuking the opponent and in an NFL game he won't be the fastest guyon the field like he was against fresno state and the other crap defenses he played against.
White is a head-case, Bush is not. Reggie Bush will be a superstar.
Are you kidding, it was a brilliant move, his antics in that game kept him out of Houston.
True, but you also said he was going to have a horrible combine, and his NFL stock was going to fall.
And then he went out and ran a 3.7, benched 225 over a hundred times, kicked a 214yd FG, saved a baby, and cured cancer. So, all you've really done is assure that Reggie Bush will be in Canton by week 7, while LenDale White will be playing for Bon Jovi.
You are crazy.

lots of idiots in this thread.
best college back since LT.
fastest burst ive ever seen in any running back ever.
unbelievable talent.
kill yourselves.
you will wind up looking stupid.
Reggie Bush is as much as a sure thing in the NFL as it gets. Kind of like Lebron was to basketball
Yeah, so did another guy I seem to recall...
Barry Sanders.
He turned out alright...![]()
I've watched Bush since he was in high school. My little bro QB'd their high school allstar team and played with Bush for two years. Bush is a ing stud. I don't predict he'll make a huge impact his first year, but he will have some exciting plays. Once he adjusts to the NFL in a few years, he will be an assest to any team he's on.
I don't know if he will be a bust but I guarantee that a lot of people will pick him higher than they should in fantasy drafts all over the country.
Bush is the next Marshall Faulk or Priest Holmes, He'll rush for 1500 and catch for 800. Maybe not this season but in his first 3 years he'll put up those numbers. He will be a Fantasy GOD.
Addai is better value pick than Bush.
1500 total yards
10+ total tds
one late season knee injury
3 years combined maybe.
You are such a a&m AGGGY loser peice of . When did Young even come into this discussion? Oh yeah, when the jealous agggy p.o.s. got a hardon for making a quandum comparison. You're the typical agggy wannabe.
Bush will be good in the nfl, and Stephen McGee will be in the top 50 in passing efficiency........What am I thinking? Neither of those things will happen. Stupid aggys
Holmes, didn't Bush have around 90 yards on 13 carries in that Bowl game? Take away his 40 yard TD run, that's still 50 yards on 12 carries. That's over 4 yards per...
Not sure how this shows his inability in reguards to the NFL, considering the defensive talent of Texas.
I think he'll be a better version of Warrick Dunn. Better able to break those 15 yard runs into 30 yarders... which will enable him to hit around 10-15 TD's a year.
You're correct in one area. His TD numbers will be limited, being that he's not a 15-yardline and in back.
Remember, however, I'm just counting his rushes out of the backfield. He's as able to catch for 100 yards in a game as rush for it. Same with TD's.
OK, did my homework.
Bush ran for 82 yards on 13 carries, including a 26-yard TD run. OK, so minus that run, he's still got 56 yards on 12 carries for a 4.7 yards per carry average.
Plus he had the run which upped it to over 6 yards per and he chipped in a healthy 95 yards receiving.
Again, I think you're a little nuts. You can say he's not going to live up to the hype and likely be correct. You don't have to go to the entirely opposite end of the spectrum and call him a bust. There's absolutely nothing but opinion to back that up anyways.
He got ~25 of those receiving yards when USC was losing by 3, with 20 seconds to go, texas was playing a deep prevent coverage, with 1 linebacker, and bush got a short pass and ran for BS yardage. So his receiving stats was kinda misleading too.
OK, but still, 82 rush, 70 recieve and a touch vs. a very good, pro-style defense is hardly something to snear at.
Certainly shouldn't be the backbone of you "he'll be a bust" arguement.
