I think the 01 Rams were better than the 99 Rams, even if they didn't win it all.
If you go by record the 1972 Dolphins should be number one on the list....they did go undefeated the whole year.
But since this list clearly isn't based soley on records, your point is worthless.
I wouldn't say it's worthless... the article itself apologizes for the low ranking of the '72 Dolphins.

Not too many Super Bowl teams can boast of being #1 in this many categories, as much as a Cowboy fan I am, I think the '72 dolphins should be #1.
If records don't matter then why bring up who they beat and who they lost to during the season. They won all their games when it counted and won the big one.
Strength of schedule, point differential, league parity, etc.
the niners > your favorite team. thats all that matters..... no one cares about anything else.......

i agree. the only thing that was better about the 99 rams IMO, was Vermeil. Mike Martz ed that team up. if Vermiel stayed, there would be no Patriot dynasty. it would be the Rams dynasty. no doubt in my mind.

I am SO down with that. Mad Mike was the worst thing to happen to that franchise. He set them back a good 5 years. They would have made it to another Super Bowl (if not for X Clown in '04), but Mad Mike decided to sit on the ball when Carolina was on their heels to go to OT. He should have been fired that day.
And we are supposed to believe the wannabe from East Bay with his constant insults, foul mouth, and misrepresentations is the voice of reason in this forum?

The 72 Dolphins are incredibly overrated. They were lucky the Browns didn't bounce them in the first round. The 73 Dolphins were much better.
agreed. Martz called some of the most bizzarely dumb plays at the worst possible times. even if they didnt have Vermeil, if they at least had a decent coach who knew how to call logical plays, they would still have been a dynasty.
