Brees, who throws right-handed, didn't break any bones.
Brees made the All-Pro team while leading the resurgent Saints to the NFC championship game, but was injured while throwing a fourth-down incompletion on the NFC's second drive at the NFL all-star game. The NFC starter went 2-of-7 for 23 yards in the scoreless first quarter.
Brees, who passed for 4,418 yards and 26 touchdowns this season to earn his second trip to the Pro Bowl, didn't return to the game - but coach Sean Payton wasn't likely to play his New Orleans star much beyond the opening quarter, anyway.

they should get rid of the game. and just have the pro bowl contests.
yea the game is boring as , they need more contests, like who has the biggest 8===D and so forth
and you can be the lone judge.
I thought Spurstalk already had an official judger for these types of events?

The Pro Bowl is without a doubt the WORST All Star game in sports. How the F do you play your ASG when the season is OVER?
I've always wondered that too. My guess is if the Pro Bowl was held at midseason and someone was seriously injured, it might derail a team's playoff hopes. Since the Pro Bowl is held after the season, players should be over injuries by minicamp. But if a QB or RB goes down in a midseason all-star game, it'd seriously over the team. That's my guess...but who really knows.
they need team challenges... where the whole team competes in skill challenges against diff teams... find the strongest.. fastest.. most skilled team.
the probowl just sucks period
Sean Taylor or whoever hit the punter should get his ass reamed.
Cardinal rule of Pro Bowl participants is you don't even come close to a play that could hurt someone. That was intentional bull .
Did not see the Brees play. Cheapshot or just incidental? For his part Brees should have just dumped the ball and bailed to safety. (4th down). Or did he.
Farce game, thats why you see so many players not attending.
