You just need the standard Acrobat as far as I know, but that runs $300 or so. I don't think that there is a stand alone editing capable software.
I have a pdf file that I need to edit. I have Adobe Reader 6.0, but as you know, you cannot make any changes to that pdf do ent.
I went to the Adobe site but there are so many products that I'm not sure which one I need to purchase to make those changes. Does anyone know what I need to purchase or if there is a trial version? Thanks y0.

I use a PDF Editor that was free (or has a long free trial) called Fox It.
I didn't catch it at download.com, do yuo have a link to that download anywhere?
Let me look ...

It looks like the free trial watermarks your pages - so it's probably not for you. (My version doesn't do that but I downloaded it a while ago)
i have the full version of acrobat, but never figured out how to edit (never really had a reason too), but if someone tells me how to do it, I can try to edit it for you if you want.
You probably have the Reader and not the full Acrobat...so...not sure if you can make edits AND save with the Trial version of Acrobat...it's worth a try...
It's cool, it's a full newsletter that I am tajking over and need to change everything. Almost everything atleast. It's too much to ask, but thanks for the offer. I'm just gonna have to purchase the full version myself either way since this will be a monthly thing.
That altavista site has worked well for you Lee? I'll prpoabably just purchase it through there because 300+ for Adobe Professional is insane.
Toss me a pack of blank CDr's and I will have your program by noon time Friday![]()

Yeah, no rush at all. I still need to actually write a few more articles over the next few days. I suddenly have the urge to whip out the Sims and play though.
Is that program in this box?

No idea. Which ever one can edit pdf do ents without leaving a waterwark.
Are you playing the original sims? If so download the rejuvenator. It's like a box you walk into and it turns everything green , you don't have to eat pee or shower anymore. That way you can spend more time doing others things.
I have some fun packs. expansion pack and Hot Dates.
If you call me I can tell you how to get your program tonight on your own![]()

in', thanks for the info.
I you're going to be creating pdfs regularly, you should look into TeX, a typesetting language that allows you to easily make professional do ents in postscript (ie, printer) format, or pdf. It's free, open-source, and it's a of a lot less buggy than Acrobat, considering it's written by the greatest programmer to ever live (Donald Knuth).
