Last I heard, he was over at Croutons discussing strategy. He will be returning to Iraq shortly.
I heard from an ex-CIA analyst that Moqtada al-Sadr and his Shiites are responsible for only 8% of US casualties, while the Sunnis/al Quaida for the other 92%.
The Sunnis are being supported/financed the BushCo "eastern branch", the Saudis.

that is not necessary
As I've written before, al-Sadr has about 80,000 active 'low-lifes' and 'dead-beats' and a possible nother 900,000 inactive reserve in Sadr City...If the U.S. was gonna go in after him they would need to send in the cavalry and the band.
Iraqi/US troops attack Headquarters of Al-Sadr..
KUNAIt is reported that 14 military vehicles have it surrounded after bombardment, while Al-Sadr is out of the country. Further reported that do ents and records are being seized.
So how long will it take for there to be a new announcement of Iranian involvement in Iraq?
IMHO this has the potential to set off a firestorm of attacks by the Shiites added to the Sunni insurgents attacks, both directed at the Iraqi Government seen as the US puppet, and the US troops stuck in the line of fire.
Apparently, the Shiia have not been keeping their increase-the-violence end of the bargain....
Well, here's hoping he snuck back into the country within the past few days and was signing paychecks.
