I just got myself a new 80 gig ipod, and i was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to upload dvd's to this thing or do i have to buy the movies off itunes?
I used this program a while back but can't remember if it was free or not. I know I did buy a program (which I don't even have now because my stupid computer crashed last summer) but not sure if this was the one. You can try it though...

I did put a few DVD's on my ipod but of course lost those when my comp crashed. I only have The Notebook now...
You dont want to use an Ipod, you want one of those Creative Zen things - far better, and the technology used was ripped off by Apple...!
You can add movies to it Mark with DVDs.

my child support gets automatically deducted from my checks each pay period dork....and i bought it with my club promoting money i just dont know how to convert my dvds to watch them on my ipod so i can have something to do during all my dr's appointments from my knee
You have to use a ripper/converter to move the movies to the iPod. There are lots of programs out there that will do that, both free and pay, but I don't have experience with them. They're easy to find by googling "ipod dvd ripper".
