Last night against the WolveS: 40 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in a LOSS to the Wolves.
Kobe like KG should always be considered an MVP candiate but his team continues to suck because of the crappy players around them.
Amazing talent being wasted away...a la AI in Philly, KG in Minnisota, etc.

KG has it a lot worse. Plus Lakers are plagued with injury these last few weeks. Kobe's in a good position for his prospective years. It'll be like Jerry Buss and Phil Jacksons task to creating a Frankenstein Jordan-SG centered franchise. The Laker org will build around him. If anything's stopping Kobe from winning it's himself. His statline is INSANE.
But Sunday's statline was HORRIBLE. 17 Misses, 28 shots to get 31 points. Tonight he had 13 on 30 shots. and 3-10 3-pointers. And he missed a lot of shots in OT.
But Kobe's team is moving in the right direction.
KG will probably move over the Summer to another team. or SHOULD.
KG is on sinking ship While Kobe is in LA LA land, and that Lakers Magic will always eventually get themselves back in the mix.
Odom is out and Bynum is developing.
Kobe has hope. KG does not.
The question should be, is Kobe the new Bill Laimbeer?

Kobe's already won 3 les while surrounded by talent and other allstars. There are too many injuries this year to build any sort of chemistry. They will sneak into the playoffs and lose in the first round if there's no Odom, Walton and Mihm.
Patience... Bynum is still developing. He will be a force in this league.
