Kobe..... tsk tsk tsk... again?
Once again Kobe flails his arm on a jumpshot and cracks Jaric in the face. A carbon copy of the elbow to Ginobili's face. The guy apparently still hasn't learned his lesson yet. If the league stays consistent another suspension should be coming his way.

Just click play on the highlights. The exact same play...just subs ute Jaric for Ginobili![]()
Hopefully he gets a three game suspension.![]()
He didn't deserve a suspension last time, not does he now.
That's so dumb. Is it standard jump-shot technique to flail your arms out to the sides after the shot?
I'm sure the NBA will stay consistent and only suspend Kobe. The other elbows, take downs, head smacks from other players will go unpunished as usual...
im starting to like kobe now that the league is ting on him............ hes my new favorite player.........
Where are all you Kobe apologists from before - "Oh that was just a normal shot motion... Manu was unlucky"? Show yourselves!
Cmon man, just admit Kobe's blind flailing is a danger to other players in the league. Does that look like a "natural basketball motion" to you? Dirk, Manu, Jaric...the list keeps growing. Kobe KNOWS why he got suspended the first time and now he does it again? Is he that stupid?
Kobe did it again to say, "See, that's just how I'm wired. Kind of like a twitch. Why would I have done it intentionally, if I already know the consequences by now?"
It'll be funny what the league does, they set the precedent. Kobe committing a blow to the head. equals suspension.
Kobe didn't deserve the first suspension, and the NBA ed up. Looks like they are stuck now. They HAVE to suspend him.
what a nut. that flailing arm has got to stop, he's ing up people's grills!
Sam exact move, might get 3-5 games. Guy has got to stop flailing aroung like a little
I didn't think he deserved to be suspended the first time with Manu, but having it happen a second time in the exact same way pretty much makes it look intentional, so suspend his ass.
I think some homers should cut that natural motion bull . It's true, Kobe may be flailing for contact. But this is unique to Kobe it seems. Dirk, Manu, Jaric? Two head-shot incidents nearly a month apart exactly identical. Other players on jumpshots would clobber their defenders in the head more frequently if such a motion was completely natural.
Maybe the first suspension wasn't warranted. Second one they have to do it. Besides, the dude needs to stop hitting players in the head!
When I heard the Spurs and Gino talk about how they thought the incident wasn't intentional my first thought was, hey they're content to just sweep it under the rug.
I was always of the opinion that it was intentional. There's no natural shooting motion that causes your arm to fly out to the side like that.
Kobe gets frustrated a lot. You can see he has anger management issues. This hit on Jaric was no different.
Kobe needs to be suspended for at least 5 games this time.
After the first incident, I suppose one could make an argument about questionable intent. Not after this one though:
It was blatant, end of story.
On a sour note for Spurs fans though. It means he misses the game with the Mavs coming up next week........ godamm Kobe.
LOL.......
Thanks for the laugh goose, I needed that badly![]()

5 games....are you serious....Granted his "flailing" should be punished...but 5 games. What about the clothesline of Lebron on Wade, or the Gino knee to nuts on Amare, too many inconsitancies in the NBA. Oh, let's not mention the karate kick from Bowen. Each game there are plays where people get their bell run, but no suspensions.
Because it's time they crack down on this BS of trying to draw fouls like a little ... the excuse of "normal shooting motion" doesn't work anymore.
So, everytime Kobe is rejected by an opponent, he'll hit him in the face???
Gino kicking Amare was not intentional ; Kobe, on the other hand, is a
I agree. Last night Aldridge sent an elbow to Barry's head and there is no mention of the incident. Some one else kneed Duncan in the balls, no mention of that. I brought up those incidents because I saw that game, I know there where more than the incidents the Medvedenko and I mentioned. They have to be consistent if they are going to hand out suspensions and fines.
I didn't think Kobe deserved the suspension last time because it was so clearly incidental. But the league didn't give it to him because they thought it was flagrant or intentional. They gave it to him because there is apparently a rule against ANY CONTACT ABOVE THE HEAD. If this incident qualifies under that rule, then I would suspect a similar response, provided of course the TWolves send the tape to the office.
Should be interesting is all I can say.
If the league doesn't suspend him they almost admit they were wrong the first time,
Or they could suspend him for one game to stay consistent,
Or they could suspend him for more than one game since this is a repeat offense.
It doesn't help Kobe's case that an offensive foul was called...
