It is an awesome record to have one which I feel will never be broken. I think this record will be more sacred then the bulls 72 win record.
I'm not pissed at Curry's historic level of play. The Duncan Era is writing it's own history. Someone remind me what the Lakers are doing right now.![]()
, 3000, another 50 win season tonight. Times are good for Duncan.
Yeah the dubs will be a nobody again in about five years have 1 championship and a record regular season while the Spurs will be going for #7 or 8![]()
As long as we beat them in the WCF, tbh...![]()
Really should be 19 seasons - in '99 they went 37-13, which is a pace for well over 50 wins.
Regardless of what happens this year in the playoffs, what an incredible run this has been over the past 2 decades![]()
You know what props to this. The Curries maybe having a historic season but the Spurs have had the two decades of historic, consistent basketball. That overall is unappreciated and overshadowed as its always been.
NBA record 17th straight 50+ win season

There we go

yeah we did. By the way way I was at the game, holy Boban looks like he was created in someone's basement...in person he's way bigger...
The Spurs are having an historical season. Only 6 teams in the history of the NBA have gotten to 50 wins faster and the Spurs playoff clinch (which should come in the next few days) will be one of the earliest ever. They have an historically great scoring margin, an historically significant home winning streak, and that's only what they've done this season.
That seems less true because GST has been even better. But the historical marks are still historical.
But it does suck to realize what it must have been like to be a mid-00's Suns fan or a Pre-2011 Mavs fan.
F the 2006 Mavs, we just posted our 19th consecutive .610 winning percentage season.
Agreed. Golden State will implode at some point in the near future. Curry is already in his late 20s with shaky ankles and the rest of that roster is dependent on the space created by Curry.
17 straight 50 win seasons will not be broken in a long long long long time. Unless they increase the number of regular season games......
BTW, San Antonio is positioned to put a few more 50 +win seasons on the board with the younger portion of their core.
A record i feel may never be broken..
