where did you get those #'s? also, looks like a good rugby workout.
The 300 workout, as it was done by the actors:
“300”
25x Pull-ups
50x Deadlift @ 135lbs
50x Push-ups
50x Box Jump @ 24” box
50x Floor Wiper @ 135lbs
50x KB Clean and Press @ 36lbs (KB must touch floor between reps)
25x Pull-ups
300 reps total
here's the video for it.

dunno man, got it from a car forum site....dunno the authenticity of it, but still a good work out none the less.
i did some searching and found the same thing. looks legit...good stuff. great way to end a workout...think i'll try it next time.
I got tired and sore just reading it.
I think it was in last month's issue of either Men's Fitness or Men's Health magazines - don't recall which one, though.
i think we may have done harder workouts during offseason for football...
this is from our off season training regiment during my junior year of offseason:
Jump Rope 10min
Ladder 10min
Pro Agility x3
Sled 6x50yd (a sled harnassed to your back with about 100 pounds)
Box Jumps x3 (a row of about 8 boxes varying in height... i'm pretty sure the smallest of these was 24")
then for the running
110 yds x 16 < 18 seconds each
40 yd dash x 10 20 second intervals
jog 1 mile.
that's not including any weight lifting that you might want to have done.
those floor wipers sure do look like a though.
Daily doubles before football season are the worst.
i can still remember tearing off most of the skin on my left hand during bear crawls. it was just kinda hanging there.
I remember having dry heaves in 100 degree weather.
March issue of Men's Health. I've been doing a modified version for a few weeks as my warm up. I'm only up to 175 reps though. The floor wipers? Faaaaahgeddaboudit.
is a KB clean the same thing as a power clean? that actually doesn't sound that hard to do... especially at 36 pounds... when i was at my strongest i could clean and press close to 200 pounds. they might not be the same thing though.
wtf is a floor wiper and box jump?
floor wiper = wormy on floor or hammer time?
box jump = star jumps?
KB = kettle ball. It's a big ball with a handle, so these are one arm clean and presses. So you are bringing the clean up (mostly forearm) then shoulder pressing up. Try doing it 50 times....
The way Men's Health describes the floor wiper in the March issue is you lay down and press 135 lbs and hold it above your body. Then you bring your legs up and alternate touching the 45 lb plates on each side with your feet. Abs and shoulders galore.
Box jump is just jumping on top of a box.
i'm gonna try those floor sweepers tomorrow.... albeit with 95 pounds as oppsed to 135... no need killing myself on the first try.
Men's Health recommends to try starting with just the bar... maybe give that a try.
I'll be in my bunk.
after deadlift, clean and press reps, this was the end result

The Audio Daily Doubles are really where somebody can cash in.
just did the workout...twice. its a and i had to cheat on the pull-ups, i can't do 25 real pull-ups continually. after i came home from rugby practice i rested a bit and then did it, rested a little less than 10 minutes and did it again.
i give it my seal of approval and i think i am going to add it to my workouts. its a good circuit. anyway, some of you should try it.
